If they are available, hire this band!! Just a couple songs into EBS’s set at our wedding, people were already asking where we found them and saying “this is the best wedding band I’ve ever heard”. They rocked! Everyone was up and dancing for hours. We went with the 6-piece band that included Anthony - wow was that the right choice. Anthony plays saxophone, keyboard, flute, auxiliary percussion, and more, which impressed everyone and got us even more hyped. However, if your budget is tighter you can get the 5 piece band. They were quick to agree to play every song we asked them to play for the first/parent dances and processional songs at the ceremony. The cocktail hour piano was the perfect soundtrack - they also offered acoustic guitar. Fil did introductions and announcements in a fun way (but not too cheesy) and made sure he pronounced all names correctly. The audio support - mic’ing up the officiant, processional songs during the ceremony, mic’ing up people who spoke at the ceremony or gave toasts - was flawless. We didn’t have to worry about any of that stuff. The communication with Fil could not have been better. He answered every question we asked with kindness and optimism, and we asked a lot. They shared a worksheet that showed us everything we needed to decide. Hire them! Worth every penny.

My husband and I had a superb experience working with Fil and Emergency Broadcast System (EBS)! Their communication was excellent from first inquiry to final details messaging. Fil was extremely responsive to all our questions and his attention to detail ensured a smooth wedding day. Fil was able to integrate our preferences with his knowledge and experience with the band's strengths and songs that reliably brought wedding attendees to the dance floor. The band was also kind enough to learn a Chappell Roan song for us and absolutely crushed it! EBS team additionally assisted with AV services for the ceremony and for a violinist we utilized for the ceremony. For cocktail hour, EBS provided an excellent and somewhat relaxing R+B style piano-based performance that set a chill vibe before the energy of the introductions and first dance. When the full band was performing together, it was electrifying. Brooke (female lead), Fil, and the whole band surpassed our highest expectations. Early in the evening after the speeches, the band played a lower-key dinner set, including one of my favorite songs, "Free Fallin'," which first introduced our guests to the talents of the full band and provided the perfect backdrop. And when the dancefloor fully opened, EBS had our guests dancing until the end of the night. Our guests universally raved about EBS and many expressed to me that they were the best wedding band they had ever heard. My husband and I will never forget dancing under the disco ball while EBS performed "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" and many other club classics. Fil and EBS even made sure we had "DJ sets" in place for the band's breaks, which helped the evening to flow nicely. I cannot say enough about how at ease Fil made us throughout the whole process through his professionalism and excellent communication, and after their live performance, I can say without a doubt they were one of the best investments we made for the wedding. Five stars are not even enough to show our support!

If you're considering a wedding band, look no further than The Emergency Broadcast System! Fil and his band were incredible every step of the way. They were so easy to work with—responsive, super accommodating, and dedicated to helping us curate the perfect set list for each part of our wedding: from the pre-ceremony, ceremony, and cocktail hour, to the reception. They truly captured our vibe and made each moment feel unique and special. Fil and his band are not only talented musicians but also amazing MCs. They helped us pull off the best dance floor opening ever, making a fun and complex drinking game easy to play with all 150 guests. His energy was infectious, and he got everyone out on the dance floor right from the start. And it wasn’t just the younger crowd—everyone of all ages danced the night away!
The vocals and musical talent were out of this world, and the lighting added a stunning ambiance. The energy was electric from start to finish, including an unforgettable dance floor closer that left everyone buzzing. I honestly feel bad it took me so long to write this review, but we’ve been flooded with calls from friends and family telling us it was the most fun wedding they've ever been to.
If you want your wedding to be unforgettable, hire them, hire them, hire them! We'll be traveling back to Massachusetts when we can to catch them play live at Carrie Nation or Landsdowne to relive how amazing it all was.

We used them for both our cocktail hour (with Fil doing an acoustic set) and our reception (full band with a Saxophone). THey brought the house down and everyone had so much fun! Fil was also a very organized and professional MC and made sure that all of the music coordination went seamlessly from Ceremony to Cocktail Hour to First Dances to Reception. They communicated well throughout the planning process to ensure the setlist and all music was to our liking. It couldn't have gone any better and we would highly recommend them for any wedding or private events!

The EBS Band is 11/10! Booking and securing them for our wedding day was literally on the top of our "to do" list. We actually even made sure they were available before we even found out venue. Their electric energy, talent and professionalism was an absolute pleasure to work with. They were so receptive to any special requests we had. We had a very unique line up of things to ask of them. For example, a pre recorded speech from my father, a picture slideshow, mother daughter dance, a few special family requests, and a live last dance for my husband and I that the band actually learned specifically for our special moment. Fil learned the song for us at my surprise engagement and it was beyond special to us. The tunes kept flowing all night and the dance floor was constantly full of people litereally having the time of their lives. We cannot thank EBS enough for their appearance and dedication to our wedding. I know people will remember our wedding and the fabulous music we got to jam to!

EBS was absolutely fabulous and kept the dance floor packed all night! Fil was incredibly helpful during the preparation, making it easy for us to communicate our vision for the wedding. One of the best aspects of their service is that they’re not just a live band—they also offer full MP3/AV capabilities and performed live keyboard music for our ceremony. Fil and the EBS band were incredible, and I am so glad we made the perfect decision for our wedding. Live music is a big part of our lives and relationship and we knew we wanted the vibes and energy of the Boston bar scene cover bands at our wedding. Of the many band leaders I talked to in the lead up, Fil was for sure the most easygoing and flexible in regards to our unique setup and what we wanted on our wedding day. While many other bands wanted to nickel and dime us for every little extra ask (e.g. having two sets of speakers inside a building and in a tent, lighting, special songs etc.), Fil was so flexible and ensured everything included in the base price. The ultimate kicker was EBS letting my new husband get up on stage and play 2 of our favorite songs together with the band, which absolutely made the night for us and required a great amount of work and planning that they graciously included for us. At the end of the night all our guests were chanting for an encore and did not want the music to stop. 5 stars all around and would recommend them to anyone who wants a hard rocking great time.

This Band was beyond our greatest expectations. Fil was always so easy to talk to or text from the moment we booked the band. He met with us about a month before our wedding to discuss details. He gave suggestions that were helpful and learned a few songs that meant a lot to us. We barely sat down once the band started. Our friends kept saying they were going to sit down when they didn't like a song, however all the songs were amazing so many of our guests were on the dance floor most of the night. The band played starting at our ceremony, on to the cocktail hour and then the reception. They guided us when we needed it and were flexible with letting our son get up and sing. It was nice having a Woman in the band as well. She had an amazing voice! All of our family and friends commented on the Emergency Broadcast system Band on how they were fantastic! We hired Fil solo for our intimate backyard wedding after party and he was absolutely perfect. Every guest we had commented on his talent and he made the experience so much more lively and fun. My husband and I hired EBS to play at our wedding in Maine in August 2021. We were originally supposed to get married in 2020, but had to postpone due to COVID, and Fil was so helpful and accommodating through that process. He was so easy to work with in the lead up to the event. He played a lovely acoustic set during our cocktail hour. Our day-of coordinator bailed last-minute, so we were running in a bit behind schedule during dinner, and Fil and EBS stepped up and played right through their sets to get us back on track. And as far as the me music goes, they are amazingly talented! Fil shared their set list with us ahead of time, and boy did they deliver. Our guests danced the entire time and I can’t count the number of people who came up to me that night and since the wedding to say how good the band was. These guys were easily the highlight of our wedding celebration. Fil was extremely professional, showed up early to our meeting and wedding day, and ran the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner hour seamlessly. The venue had some delays with serving food, but Fil was gracious about consolidating the band’s set list, keeping us updated about the tweaks he was making to ensure that we were happy. The band even stayed later to help make sure we heard all of our favorite songs, and learned our wedding song, “Everlong” by the Foo Fighters, ahead of time so that we could rock out to it at the end of our awesome night. The Emergency Broadcast were amazing when it came to our wedding. They showed up on time, wore professional attire, and mingled with our guests before playing. Once the music started the crowd couldn't get enough. Everyone was dancing till the end.  

 They played all the music we requested and nothing that all the age groups didn't know. During intermissions they DJ’d so the music continued to flow. I for one love live music and my feet couldn’t get enough. At the end of the night the crowd begged for more songs and they did just that kept on playing.
